I have been working on getting my life organized so I have time with my precious Eliana and also have time to sew. I am very close to having it somewhat figured out. I made this dress for Eliana this Christmas. I was hoping to offer it to all of you before Christmas, but that didn't work out. I sent this outfit to Robin at Red Thread Stitches for her daughter to model. Oh she looks so cute! The outfit is a size 4 so it looks a little big on Lauren who is a size 3. Thank you Robin and Daleea (Lady Peep Boutique) for putting the pictures together. These ladies have the biggest, most giving hearts and are both trying to bring their daughters home.

My newest creation was made with Eliana on my mind. I can just see your little one in this outfit wanting to have a tea party. I can't wait to find out what size Eliana will be so I can make her this outfit. The fabric I used is Moda by 3 Sisters, 'Paris Flea Market' and it is so scrumptious. I know you will love this fabric in person. I truly enjoyed working with it.

Email Problems

Late last night I realized I was having email problems. It is highly unusual to not have any emails all night. Well, after IMing with a friend she said she had emailed a couple of times and then reality set it -- my lifeline was broken. It seems to be back up and running this morning, but if you emailed yesterday chances are I did not get it. I thought maybe they would come rushing in, but have not as of yet. If you wrote yesterday please send it again. Thanks.

A Day At The Beach

Here is what I have been working on. Two white dresses for those must have summer beach pictures in all white. These dresses are SOLD, but I do have more material for two more all white dresses (small flower print of white, these were in paisley). If anyone is interested I can do 2T- 5T.

Flower Power of Cuteness was created as an outfit to take your sweet little girl from mid-summer through to the fall. Once it starts cooling off you can just add a long sleeve tee under the top and it turns into a great early fall outfit. Little Girl Dreams

Welcome to Miao's Cottage! I have started sewing more and this blog was created as a place to display and sell my creations. Proceeds from sales will help us bring our daughter home from China as well as help with her pending surgeries.

There will be many exciting things in the near future--some will be repeatable, and others will be truly unique with special fabrics and materials. At this time, I am not able to take special orders. I will be posting pics of the items for sale as they are completed. The main category of my sewing is clothing for little girls. However, there will be a mix of other goodies like totes, lovies, and the occasional special mom and daughter creations. Within the coming days and weeks, there should be many new items appearing.

Items will be sold to the first email I receive stating that they want to purchase it. I will then send an invoice via PayPal and the item will be shipped withing 48hrs of payment. If you would like to be notified via email when there is an new item for sale please leave a comment saying so with your email address. When something is available I will let you know. However, if you see something you really love that has already sold please e-mail me as I may have extra materials on-hand to duplicate it.
